Mac: no double-sided (two-sided) option when printing

If the Print window on your Mac doesn't show a two-sided printing option, the options may be collapsed, or the printer may not be set up with its duplex feature on your Mac. 1. Open the document and choose File then Print. 2. Click Show Details at the bottom of the Print window if you see it, to expand all the options. 3. Look for the drop-down menu in the middle of the Print window (it may say Copies & Pages or Layout). 4. Choose Layout from that menu and look for a Two-Sided checkbox. 5. Tick Two-Sided and print. 6. If there is no such option, try printing the same document from a different app, such as Preview, to see if the option appears there. 7. Restart your Mac and try printing again. Contact IT: If the two-sided option still isn't there, the printer may need to be set up differently on your Mac, which only IT can do. Submit a ticket and include your Mac's name and the printer's name.
